Happy St. Patrick's Day to ya!

Top o' the mornin' to ya! (Or good afternoon or good evening depending on your time zone.) I just got in on the Candlelight Reads Irish Gold Blog Hop at the last minute, so please forgive me for not writing a better blog posting. The Grand Prizes for this blog hop include a $60 gift card and a swag bag. Not bad at all!

From Devine Destinies Books: http://www.devinedestinies.com/the-fixer-uppers

To top it off, if I get twenty comments in the comment section below, I'll hold a drawing for a free e-copy of my latest romantic-comedy novel The Fixer Uppers. Yeah, that's right--a whole novel for free! To enter, leave me your name/email address and a short comment about what genres you like to read in romantic fiction. I really do like to hear what readers are enjoying. Often I start reading the same and finding that I like it, too! So get cracking on your comment below... and may the luck of the Irish be with you! ;)

I don't have any specific genres in romantic fiction that I like to read. My taste in books is so wide that I pretty much love all romantic books. I go through phases of reading all different types. Lately its been paranormal romantic fiction. If I really had to choose I would say I'm loving the new classification on NA. I'm telling all my friend about this blog hop so hopefully we can get to the 20 comments on your blog. I would love to read the Fixer Uppers. I haven't read a romantic comedy in a really long time. Thanks for your comment, Shannon. Thanks for passing the word along about the blog hop to your friends, too.:)

I'm a fairly eclectic reader as well. My philosophy of books to read is, "If it tells a good story in a decent manner, I'm all for it!" ;)

I read a little of every thing in romance from women's fiction on. I guess my favorite is historical and lately its been the western romance. I really like to switch around so I don't get bored with one thing. Right now I am reading a contemporary of Jill Shalvis. So I guess a little of everything but not much on paranormal.

Thanks for your comment, Quilt Lady. :)

I understand the idea of not reading just one thing all the time... It's probably why I became a romance reader. Romance is such a varied genre! It can happen in the past, present or future and anyplace in the world. You can't get any better than that! ;)

Lately I've been reading a lot of contemporary romance. I also like Historical and Time Travel.

Any book is fine but adding romance makes it much more likeable!

Thanks everyone for the nice comments! ;)

I love time travel, too, but horror... Well, it leaves my blood cold. ;)

Is everyone's favorite time travel romance movie "Somewhere in Time"? It's tied with "Groundhog Day" in my opinion, but the first makes me cry (in a good way) and the second makes laugh out loud.

In romantic fiction, I like light, contemporary romances with a sassy heroine and some humor.

I love clean romance, but I like to get to the chase quick. I like to know who is chasing who by the first chapter.

I don't mind some side sub plots but don't stray to often from the main 2 Mc's.

Hi I don't get to read much...but always enjoy a good old fashion romance...with A happy ending :-)

Cynthianna said...

Thanks for your comments! The happy ending is what makes me a romance fan. Real life isn't always as neatly tied up, but in a romance you can always depend on the "happily ever after" for your hero and heroine. It doesn't get any better than that! :)
