About Me

Cindy A. Matthews' articles and essays have appeared in over forty publications and is currently the editor/lead writer of the The Revolution Continues blog. She has worked as a freelance feature writer, manuscript evaluator, book reviewer and copy editor. Her humorous writer's guide, Defeating the Slushpile Monster, was a finalist in the self-help/non-fiction category of the 2009 EPIC awards.

Cindy grew up watching Star Trek and reading the science fiction classics along with Harlequin romances. Somewhere along the line she figured it was just as fun to write stories as it was to read them. She writes
contemporary romances and fantasy romantic-comedies as Cynthianna. Her screwball fantasy romance series inspired by the hit TV series Doctor Who is entitled Loving Who. She also writes SF/paranormal/vampire erotic-romance under the pen name of Celine Chatillon. You can read excerpts from her novels at her author sites at the links at the top of the page.

Her science fiction series for Young Adults, the BloodDark Series for Young Adult readers, was

co-written with her husband, author Adrian J. Matthews.  For more information, check out the series' page at http://blooddarkbooks.blogspot.com

Her stand alone novella, Where The Bodies Lie, is a dystopian near future tale that offers hope in a world that seems bleak through the use of mutual aid and finding love in an expected place.

Cindy and Adrian enjoy attending historic re-enactments and science fiction cons and chatting with friendly folk. Feel free to drop her a line or meet up with her at an author's chat.
